An AI label on a Reel does not reveal its cause by itself. Your publishing disclosure, the exported video and the cover image are separate things to review. Cleaning a local video cannot directly update the Reel already on Instagram.
Start by recording the exact label and where it appears. A label attached to your profile needs the account-label troubleshooting guide.
Check the exported video and cover separately
A Reel workflow can involve footage, an editing project, an exported MP4 and a separate cover image. Inspect the final files you actually selected for upload. Checking an original camera clip does not tell you what a later export contains.
Select Video in the cleaner for a supported MP4 or MOV file. Review the detected records before choosing removal. If you uploaded a custom cover, inspect that file through Images as well. Treat this as a diagnostic check; a finding does not prove which asset caused Instagram's label.
The video format page explains file limits and supported metadata. The cleaner preserves encoded media while changing selected supported container records. It does not remove visible watermarks, spoken disclosures or signals embedded in video frames or audio.
Review how you published the Reel
Check whether you selected an AI disclosure and what explanation Instagram provides for the label. Use any correction or reporting controls actually offered in your app if the information is mistaken.
Meta's labeling policy explanation discusses disclosures as well as detected signals. Removing metadata does not settle whether disclosure is appropriate for your content.
Does an AI label reduce Reels reach?
A drop in views after a label appears does not establish that the label caused the drop. Distinguish a post label from an account restriction, recommendation eligibility and ordinary performance variation.
Review any eligibility or restriction information Instagram makes available for your account. Compare similar posts over a meaningful period instead of treating a single low-performing Reel as proof. Free AI Wiper does not measure distribution or promise restored reach.
What should I do after inspection?
Keep the original. If you choose to clean detected metadata, compare the before and after reports, then download the verified file. A result with no selected supported traces is a statement about that file's metadata. Instagram can still apply its own label.
